تسلا تسعى لحجب بيانات حوادث أنظمة القيادة الذاتية وسط دعوى قضائية. في خطوة أثارت جدلاً واسعًا، تحاول شركة تسلا منع الكشف عن بيانات تفصيلية تتعلق بالحوادث التي وقعت أثناء استخدام أنظمتها للقيادة الذاتية، مثل نظام “أوتو بايلوت” وميزة “القيادة الذاتية الكاملة” (FSD)، وذلك على خلفية دعوى قضائية رفعتها صحيفة واشنطن بوست ضد الإدارة الوطنية لسلامة المرور على الطرق السريعة (NHTSA).

وترى تسلا أن نشر هذه المعلومات، بما في ذلك تفاصيل حول البرمجيات والأجهزة المستخدمة أثناء الحوادث، يمثل تهديدًا مباشرًا لأسرارها التجارية. وأكد إيدي غيتس، مدير قسم هندسة الموثوقية الميدانية في تسلا، أن هذه البيانات تُعد من “الأصول التنافسية الجوهرية” التي يمكن أن تُستغل من قبل المنافسين لفهم الهيكل التقني للشركة واكتشاف نقاط قوتها وضعفها.

في المقابل، تشدد صحيفة واشنطن بوست على أن جزءًا كبيرًا من هذه البيانات ليس سريًا تمامًا، حيث أن بعض المعلومات متاحة للمستخدمين بالفعل. وتؤكد الصحيفة أن الإفصاح عن تلك البيانات من شأنه أن يُعزز الشفافية ويساهم في تحسين سلامة أنظمة القيادة الذاتية.

ويأتي هذا النزاع في وقت تواجه فيه تسلا ضغوطًا متزايدة من الجهات التنظيمية، خاصة بعد قيامها في عام 2023 باستدعاء أكثر من مليوني مركبة لإجراء تحسينات على نظام “أوتو بايلوت”، في أعقاب سلسلة من الحوادث المرتبطة باستخدام التقنية.

وتتصاعد المطالب من جهات متعددة بضرورة التزام شركات صناعة السيارات بالشفافية في مشاركة بيانات الحوادث، باعتبار ذلك خطوة أساسية نحو تطوير تقنيات قيادة أكثر أمانًا، ومسؤولية أخلاقية تجاه المجتمع والمستهلكين.
